Ali Azim-Araghi Born in Islington (North London), Ali Azim-Araghi was raised in Iran, before returning back to the UK in 1994. He went on to receive a BSc in Biomedical Sciences from Bradford University in 1999, followed by a PhD in Cancer Research from the University of Newcastle in 2003. Currently, he is studying Medicine at Southampton University. Ali joined ISP news team in 1998, and became the Director of News and Media in 2002, a post he currently holds. Among his highlights during his time with ISP are: Interviews with Ali Daei (in Berlin), Mehdi Mahdavikia (in Hamburg), Dejagha brothers (in Berlin), Shapourzadeh (in Hamburg), and Andranik (in London). Other highlights include attending Team Melli matches as part of the international press in World Cup 2002 (qualifying matches), and Germany 2006.
