Steel Azin sacked Ali Karimi

Karimi wrote on his personal website that Mostafa Ajorlou is not fit to be general manager of Steel Azin.

TEHRAN, Aug. 15, Ali Karimi has been kicked out of the Steel Azin football club after criticizing his team’s officials.
Karimi wrote on his personal website that Mostafa Ajorlou is not fit to be general manager of Steel Azin.

Steel Azin said on their website: “Ali Karimi has been axed from the team due to indiscipline.”

Former Bayern Munich and Persepolis midfielder had joined Steel Azin in 2009.

The 32-year old player was dismissed from Iran national team in 2008 after criticizing the Iranian Football Federation. Karimi was recently dropped from the Iran football team once again due to his recent disparaging remarks about Iran coach Afshin Ghotbi.
