Sepahan maintain lead despite loss
Sepahan retained their five-point lead at the top of the Iran Pro League despite losing 3-2 at Mes as Zob Ahan were beaten 3-0 by Persepolis.
In Kerman, Eder gave Mes a 21st-minute lead and although Ibrahima Toure levelled two minutes later, the Brazilian restored his side's advantage just five minutes after that.
Keyvan Amraei added a third for the hosts midway through the second half before Hadi Aghily pulled a goal back for Sepahan nine minutes from the end.
Efforts from Amir Hossein Feshangchi, Vahid Hashemian and Mohammad Nouri saw Persepolis down Zob Ahan in Esfahan and with five games to go, the title appears to be Sepahan's to lose.
Finally, Teraktor remained fourth with a 2-1 win at third-placed Esteghlal, Iraq international Karrar Jassim netting the winner four minutes from time.
