Osasuna wants to re-sign Nekounam

Spanish side Osasuna has indicated an interest to re-sign fan favorite Javad Nekounam
Osasuna is two points above the relegation zone in the Spanish Liga standings table.
The 33-year-old midfielder has already rebuffed the suggestions that linking him to the Spanish team, saying he will see out his current contract in Esteghlal.
Spanish website Diario de Navarra reported that the Osasuna officials are going to re-sign their former midfielder, who left the team in the last summer.
Osasuna also wants Sporting Gijon midfielder Miguel de las Cuevas but the team’s coach Jose Ramon Sandoval has said they are not going to sell their player in the January transfer window.
Nekounam joined Osasuna in 2006 and played 149 times for the team and scored 24 goals.
