Sanat Naft coach suffers heart attack

ABADAN - Sanat Naft of Abadan coach Ali Firouzi suffered a heart attack on a flight from Isfahan to Ahvaz on Friday.
 
Relegation-threatened Sanat Naft football team was heavily defeated 3-0 by Sepahan in the Iran Professional League (IPL) an away game and Firouzi suffered a heart attack during returning to Ahvaz.
 
“Some fans put me under pressure after the match and I suffered a heart attack. They didn’t put pressure on me due to the loss but they requested money. The fans told me they will put me under attack from the stands if I don’t give them money,” Firouzi said.
 
Sanat Naft remains rooted in the Iranian Professional League relegation zone.
