Iran 20th on FIFA ranking

Tehran, Dec 21 - The Islamic Republic of Iran captured 20th stand of world football body FIFA's table, according to the International football federation's latest world rankings.
World champion Brazil is still leading the world football giants with 834 points followed by 1998 world cup champion France with 792 points. In Asia, Japan's almoned-shaped eyes retain the lead with 707 points, ten points ahead of Iran's 697 points.
Former Asian champion South Korea stands on the fourth place with 688 points.
Asian tiny state Guam stands at the bottom of the table with 15 points.
FIFA's 2003 world rankings put Iran on the 28th spot of the scoreboard.
