Carlos Queiroz announces Iran squad for qualifier

Iran football coach Carlos Queiroz has selected his 24-man team for the upcoming World Cup qualifier in group A against South Korea.
Iran is to play the Korean team on October 16 in Tehran’s Azadi Stadium. The Persians are grouped with South Korea, Uzbekistan, Qatar and Lebanon for the final round of the Asian World Cup qualifying stages and need to finish at least second to qualify for Brazil 2014.
Iran is second in Group A, three points under South Korea, who has seven points.
