Kuwait FA announced on Sunday they are talking to their Japanese counterparts about staging a friendly international match at home later this month.

Kuwait are preparing to host Iran in a vital 2010 World Cup qualifier on March 26.
“We have offered Japan to host a friendly match in Kuwait City in March,” announced a Kuwaiti FA spokesman on Sunday.
“We are hopeful to get a positive reply, especially that we have been informed that Japan are willing to face a national team from the Gulf region ahead of their World Cup qualifying match against Bahrain in Manama,” added the FA official.
