Kuwait And Iraq End Goalless

A friendly meeting between Kuwait and Iraq ended in a goalless draw on Friday in Kuwait City.

Both teams are preparing for next Wednesday’s World Cup qualifiers.

Kuwait host Iran and Iraq travel to Qatar.

Both teams had chances at the Peace and Friendship Stadium in Kuwait City.  

Hawar Mulla Mohammad went closest for the visitors but his efforts in the first and second halves were well-saved by Kuwait goalkeeper Khaled Al Fadhli.

Both coaches made a number of changes in the second half but were unable to break the deadlock.
