Borussia Dortmund crashed to a home defeat against Hannover to deny them a confidence boost ahead of this weekend's DFB-Pokal final showdown with Bayern Munich.

Dortmund travel to Berlin for Saturday's final against Bayern, but failed to impress as Hannover pulled ahead 2-0 in the first half after goals from Arnold Jan Bruggink and Frank Fahrenhorst.
Alexander Frei pulled one back for the hosts in the 65th minute, but Szabolcs Huszti confirmed the victory when he netted 13 minutes later.
Dortmund now have 34 points and lie in 13th place - just seven points from the relegation zone.
Hannover collected their second straight victory to jump up to ninth place and seven points from an UEFA Cup spot.
Dortmund failed to put together any real chances in the first half but Hannover grabbed the lead in the 38th minute.
Bruggink sent in a free-kick from the left wing and Mike Hanke jumped to head the ball but did not connect as the shot travelled untouched past Dortmund goalkeeper Marcel Hottecke.
The guests took advantage of some more poor Dortmund defending to double their advantage four minutes later.
Valerien Ismael got his head on a corner and the ball went to Fahrenhorst, who headed over the outstretched arm of Hottecke.
Hannover nearly made it 3-0 in the 55th minute, when Fahrenhorst saw his goalbound header clawed away by Hottecke.
Dortmund pulled a goal back in the 65th minute through Frei, who struck home Florian Kringe's pass just seconds after coming off the substitutes' bench.
But Hannover decided the game in the 78th minute following a fine counter-attacking move.
Huszti beautifully collected a long pass from Bruggink and then fended off a Dortmund defender before blasting past Hottecke.
