Shojaei Man of the Match in Osasuna's seventh friendly match

Real Racing marked an early advantage with an early goal in First half but Osasuna’s Ezquerro equalized the match in minute 63 in a good move by Masoud Shojaei after just two minutes on the pitch. Roversi added to Osasuna goals in minute 82 following Shojaie’s second assist of the game. Shojaei was undoubtedly the man of the match from minute 61 that entered the field. His presence transformed the team's tempo. Osasuna coach, Ziganda made considerable changes in his team line-up today making eight changes, hence almost every reserve player but Cruchaga and Roberto were utilized in this friendly clash.

At 18 minutes, Christian has taken advantage of a stir in the penalty area, following an unfinished deflection by Oscar Serrano. Following Racing goal, Ziganda’s men began to create occasions on the Cantabrian goal. Nekounam had the best chance of the first half as he caught a ball inside the penalty area but its execution shot went outside. In the last quarter of an hour, Osasuna focused on getting the tie. However several attempts have been blocked with a solid defense.

The substitution instantly lead to the goal by Ezquerro, following a good move by Shojaei.

Following the refreshing equalizer,  Osasuna pressed ahead to score
the second goal and that came by Roversi after an assist masterfully provided by Shojaei. The Iranian player was the man of the match. His mobility, his speed and his vision of the game have given the team another melody. Osasuna fans has been fun and acknowledged each team effort with applause.

With this win, Osasuna sums up its third victory in the preseason campaign (Barakaldo, Hull City and Real Racing); Ezquerro marks his second goal (Hull City and Real Racing) and Roversi marks his first goal in two matches.
