Hashemian plays 90 minute in Bochum's home draw against Wolfsburg
Wolfsburg fought back from a two-goal deficit to snatch a point at Bochum on Sunday and erase the memories of last season's 5-3 humiliation at the Ruhrstadion.
PA.
Stanislav Sestak notched Bochum's first goal of the season in the 12th minute and Christoph Dabrowski doubled their lead five minutes into the second half.
However, Ricardo Costa gave Wolfsburg hope a minute later and Mahir Saglik completed the comeback in the 69th minute.
Bochum were eager to chalk up their first goals and points of the new Bundesliga season and almost got off to the perfect start but Wolfsburg goalkeeper Diego Benaglio pulled off a fantastic save to deny Paul Freier.
But Benaglio could not do anything about Sestak's shot minutes later as the Bochum striker latched onto Daniel Imhof's through ball before firing into the bottom right corner from 25 yards.
Freier came close to doubling his side's lead in the 27th minute but his 30-yard effort was narrowly off target.
Wolfsburg's only effort of the half came in the 33rd minute but Marcel Schafer's long-range effort flew wide.
The hosts doubled their lead five minutes after the break as Dabrowski headed home from the edge of the six-yard box.
The goal seemed to spark Wolfsburg into life and they pulled one back moments later as Costa fired home from close range.
Bochum shot themselves in the foot in the 69th minute as they gifted the visitors the equaliser.
Defender Antar Yahia's pass was intercepted by a Wolfsburg player and Saglik levelled the scores from 12 yards.
And Saglik almost netted the winner five minutes later but Bochum keeper Daniel Fernandes pulled off a stunning save to keep out his 10-yard effort.
Substitute Mergim Mavraj came close to taking all three points for Bochum, seconds after coming off the bench, but his close-range header flew wide six minutes from time.
