The two sides had earlier played a goalless draw on Monday.

But Radojko Avramovic’s men were down 3-0 in the first half with the visiting Omanis opening the scoring through Fauzi Basheer in the 15th minute. Just five minutes later Oman fired one more, courtesy of Yaqoob AbdullKareem, before Hussain Ali made it 3-0 in the 34th minute.

Osama Hadid put the final nail in their coffin with his 69th minute strike. Indra Sahdan Daud pulled one back for the Singaporeans in the 76th minute.

In the AFC Asian Cup 2011 qualifying, Singapore are second in Group E with six points from four matches, one point behind pacesetters Iran and just ahead of Thailand (five points) and Jordan (four).
