The three-time Iranian Premier Football League top scorer has joined the club from Esteghlal FC following a disappointing move stint in his homeland.
The 33-year-old, who was prolific during his first tour of duty with Emirates between 2006-08 is delighted to be back with the club and can’t wait to join up with his new team-mates.
“I will surely play for Emirates when the league resumes after the break on January 28,” Enayati is quoted as saying by persianfootball.com. “I will go there early to know the team well.”
Emirates currently sit second from bottom in the UAE Premier League, having picked up just six points from their first 11 fixtures, a record the veteran is desperate to improve.
“The team is struggling in the league but there are good players in the squad and I hope I can help the team to perform better in the future,” he said.
