In another semi final, Iran B’s magical run ended as Morocco finally hit gear to defeat them on penalty shoot out. Saudi and Morocco will meet in the final tomorrow.

Mohammed Ameen grabbed a double as Saudi Arabia comfortably saw off Syria’s challenge, scoring two goals in each half. Hadi Sharifi and Saad Al Zahrani got the other goals for Saudi Arabia.

Iran, fielding its reserve players made up of the players from the Iran Professional League, went ahead in the 49th min through Zohani who later became a villain when he received his marching orders.

Morocco hit back in the 70th min through Issam Rafi. They had also a man sent off in Ameen Trah. The match ended in full time and extra time, 1-1. In the ensuing penalty shootout, Morocco prevailed 5-4 to reach the final.
