IranSportsPress.com - After a slow start to his career for FSV Frankfurt, Amir Shahpourzadeh is becoming more and more an important player for the team in their fight for survival.
Amir played his 3rd straight game over 90 minutes for FSV Frankfurt in the 3-0 defeat at home to Alemannia Aachen. Despite the negative result, there's still a quantum solace for Amir as he seems to become an asset for the team and, although this might sound funny, with him the team has started to play much better. His first game from the beginning was in the 0-0 draw with his former club Hansa Rostock, in the second game away to Augsburg he scored a goal and assisted another as FSV drew away with Augsburg. Aachen however was a bit too much for FSV, but overall, Amir showed in all 3 games very good performances, even making it into a special kicker report after the Augsburg game. There's a tough schedule ahead for FSV as they will face promotion favourites Nuremberg, Freiburg and Duisburg in the next 3 weeks but his coach Oral seems to be convinced now of Amir's qualities. Despite the tough rivals and depth on his position in TM, he should be on the radar of the coaching team.
