According to IRNA, Russia defeated Iran 5-2 in the final round Sunday morning to become this year's World Cup Champions. Iranian Freestyle wrestlers had earlier crushed their Uzbek rivals 5-2 to advance to the final round of the competition. Russia had beaten its Ukrainian rival in the second round of the competitions to play Iran in the final on Sunday.
