KISH – (IranSportsPress.com): Iran’s friendly game against Mali on Sunday has been called off due to heavy rain and unsuitable pitch conditions.

It has been raining in Kish for several days, and the weather conditions took a turn for the worse hours before the kick off, and the Bahraini official had no choice but to call off the game minutes before the kick off.
It is not possible for the game to be rescheduled, as Mali are due to fly out of Kish later tonight.
Iran are preparing for the 2010 World Cup qualifiers, and are scheduled to play a friendly game against Costa Rica on 30 January before playing Syria on 06 February.
The Iran team which would have played Mali is as follows: Mohammadi, Sheis Rezaei, Aghili, Hosseini, Nouri, M Zare, Jabbari, Badamaki, Nikbakht, Karimi, Khalili
