Iran football coach Afshin Ghotbi denied there being any disputes among the players of the national team.

“I don’t have enough time to read all the papers, but I’ve heard that there was some quarreling in the national team and some players disagreed about who should wear the captain’s armband. I don’t know where these lies come from,” Ghotbi told the reporters in a news-conference on Monday.
“It takes time to build a good team and I will keep on working hard to do so. We need time,” he added.
