(IranSportsPress.com)-IPL Disciplinary committee in response to Sepahan club’s appeal to the committee’s disciplinary punishments for the yellow submarines, reduced their point deduction to 3 points and dropped the home match ban.
In a letter announced on Tuesday by IPL Disciplinary committee, Sepahan’s appeal resulted positively to 3 point reduction instead of the initial 5 point reduction, Sepahan’s 3 months home match ban was dropped and financial penalty was also reduced.
Sepahan is now allowed to play their home games in Isfahan but they will continue playing in empty stadium for the next month. Sepahan’s 20 million Toman penalty was also reduced to 10 million Toman. In this way, Sepahan jump to top of IPL standing with 39 points, followed by Saba and Perspolis with 38 and 37 points respectively.
Following severely injured solider’s claim for more compensation by Sepahan officials, IPL Disciplinary Committee also increased his 50 million Toman compensation to 70 million Toman.
IPL Disciplinary Committee however rejected Perspolis's appeal for financial penalty reduction, and Perspolis is set to pay $2 million Toman as initially fined by the Disciplinary Committee.
