Spanish referee to judge Tehran match

Vazquez will fly to the Iranian capital with his two Spanish assistants Pedro Barcia Fernandez and Jose Manuel Miranda early Thursday.

The 64th match between Perspolis and Esteqlal will be held at Tehran's Azadi Stadium on Thursday.

The 42 year-old Vazquez, who became an international referee in 2005, has judged 12 matches in the Spanish league this season.

Persepolis currently ranks second in the Iranian Premier League table with 41 points while Esteqlal is fourth with 37 points.
