Tehran's popular soccer team Esteqlal has defeated another Tehran-based team Rah Ahan in the 30th week of the Iranian Premier League (IPL).

Esteqlal managed to win the match 3-0 at Tehran's Azadi stadium on Friday.
Farhad Majidi scored the first goal from the penalty spot in the early minutes of the match and Meisam Maniee and Ali Alizadeh scored the other two goals in the last 10 minutes.
Esteqlal currently ranks eighth in the Iranian Premier League table with 41 points, while Rah Ahan stands in the fourteenth place with 35 points.
