Perspolis thrashed Saba 4-1 on Wednesday to stay two points behind Sepahan, with the two teams facing one another on Saturday in the last game of the season.

Karim Baqeri gave Persepolis the lead in the 21st minute, but Gholam-Reza Rezai scored the equalizer for Saba just three minutes from half-time.
With an attendance of 90,000 at Tehran's Azadi Stadium, Persepolis dominated the second half. Mohsen Khalili scored twice in the 62nd and 69th minute and Pejman Nouri sealed the hosts' easy win in the 73rd minute, as he netted his side's fourth.
Meanwhile, Sepahan Isfahan defeated San'at Naft Abadan 1-0 at home to retain its top position with 58 points, still two points clear of Persepolis and six points above Saba, which now sees its title hopes shattered.
In other Wednesday matches, Esteqlal conceded a 2-1 away defeat to Zob Ahan to lose all three points for the 12th time this season.
Malavan escaped the relegation zone thanks to a 2-1 win over Moqavemat Sepasi, while Pegah dropped one place to the 16th, after losing 1-0 to Barq-e-Shiraz.
Saipa claimed a late 1-0 victory over Abumoslem as Mes-e-Kerman enjoyed a 2-1 win over Rah Ahan. Estqlal-e-Ahvaz and Pas-e-Hamedan were held to a 2-2 draw.
Persepolis will take on Sepahan on Saturday in a game which will decide the 2007-08 champions. Anything less than a victory on Saturday's finale would see Persepolis finishing as the runner-up.
