Karimi to wear No. 8 in Persepolis

Newly signed midfielder Ali Karimi is to wear number eight in Persepolis football team.

Karimi will be allowed to accompany Persepolis against Pegah of Gilan on Thursday in the Iran's Professional League (IPL).

Pejman Nouri has worn number eight in the past two years. He will wear number 18 for the rest of the season.

Ali Karimi joined Iranian champions Persepolis from Qatari club Al-Silliya two weeks ago.
