TEHRAN- Tehran’s Esteghlal rallied from one goal down to beat 5-2 Moghavemat Sepasi of Shiraz in the 10th week of the Iran’s Professional League (IPL) here at the Azadi Stadium.

Reza Khaleghifar’s early goal put the visitors ahead in the 9th minute. Moghavemat conceded a goal one minute later. Meisam Maniei headed into goal from six yards zone.
Shahram Gudarzi netted Vahid Taleblu’s goal by a long range shot in the 18th minute. The Blues recovered again to draw in the 33rd minute when Khosro Heidari’s header past Moghavemat’s keeper.
Esteghlal was dominant team after interval. Two headers by Siavash Akbarpour in the 63rd and 68th minutes sealed a sweet home victory for Amir Ghalenoei’s team, who was under pressure after the late draw against arch rival Persepolis last week.
Esteghlal John Vario finished off with a superb shot 15 minutes left to time from the guest’s box.
