Former Iran defender said that he would rather play in the domestic league than joining the European second class leagues including Italian Serie B.

“I have received some offers from Serie B teams but rejected all of them. I would prefer to play in Iran’s Professional League (IPL) than Europe’s second class leagues. I will never join these kinds of teams." said Rahman Rezaei.
Rejecting speculations that he is going to hang up his boots, former Livorno defender declared, “These speculations made me laugh. I am fully on course and waiting to select the best option. Of course I am worried about my future because the competitions are already underway. I would like to join an Iranian team.”
Rezaei hopes to come back to the national team, saying, “I have no problem to come back to the national team. I would like to help the team and be useful.”
