Iranâ€™s Asgari among world top five cyclists

Iranian cyclist Hossein Asgari was named by Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) in its road rankings listing the worldâ€™s five top bikers.

The Iranian phenom is scheduled to attend Saturday's ceremony in Italy, where topnotch cyclists are honored.

Asgari drummed up media headlines with his lustrous performance in 2007 events that landed him in top place of the Asian standings on 333 points.
