Iran's seven-member team picked up 48 points (one gold medal, two silver and one bronze) in the tournament to stand in the second spot after Japan.
"I will practice hard to bag a gold medal at the 2008 Olympics," said Iran's heavyweight wrestler Fardin Ma'soumi who was awarded the team's sole gold medal.
"That was the third gold medal that I have bagged in an international event," the 120-kilogram champion added on his return from Jeju Island, South Korea.
Ma'soumi stood in the first spot after beating Marid Mutalimov of Kazakhstan on March 19 to secure a 2008 Olympics berth.
