Olympic Qualifier:Iran volleyball team beats Thailand
Iran's national volleyball team has defeated Thailand in its third match in the 2008 Beijing Olympics qualification tournament in Tokyo.

Iranian players fought back from one set down to beat Thailand 3-1 (19-25, 25-15, 25-23, 25-14).
Iran had lost its first and second matches to Algeria and Japan respectively. The Iranian squad will now face Argentina in its fourth match on Wednesday.
In other matches, Argentina beat Algeria 3-0 (25-18, 26-24, 25-22) and Italy thrashed Australia in three straight sets (25-17, 25-9, 25-16).
The winner of the tournament and the best-placed Asian team will qualify for the Olympics.
