Iran sealed its first win in the tournament over Thailand on Tuesday, but lost to Algeria, Japan, Argentina, Italy and South Korea.
South Korea did not succeed either to qualify for Beijing despite a 3-1 victory over Thailand.
Meanwhile, the tournament's unbeaten leader Italy edged past Argentina on Sunday to join Japan in the Olympics.
Japan defeated Argentina 3-2 on Saturday to become the top-placed Asian team, securing a berth in the Olympics after 16 years.
