Iran’s super heavyweight judoka Mohammad-Reza Rudaki withdrew from the Olympics in protest against the federation’s situation.

Rudaki, who qualified for the London 2012 Olympic Games as the only Iranian representative, has said he is not going to participate in the prestigious event.

“I’m abandoning judo because of those people who consider only their own benefits and keep their positions,” he said.

“Iran’s Judo Federation works with unrighteous people and I would rather pull out of the Olympics,” Rudaki added.
