TM or IR team?

For a long time this minor and absolutely personal issue was a reason to attack and gang up my dear friend Chinaski. Well a few other people used the term too but they were not as insisting as Chinaski so he had to deal with some hateful people who sometimes left aside the whole game and started focusing on fighting Chinaski. Anyway, right from the beginning i found it interesting that someone would call that team IR team. I had not heard about that before but his explanations sounded logical so i started to at least understand his point of view. However the more i think about it, i come to the conclusion that in this case i have to disagree with my dear friend Chinaski. This is not the IR team, its Team Melli Iran. Iran National Team.

From what i have seen from Chinaski , i believe he would have been more accurate if he called this team Team Melli Iran aswell because this term would be the logical consequence of Chinaskis thoughts. Calling it IR team, would exclude people of Iran and whitewash them from all guilt and put the whole blame on IRs shoulders. No Chinaski jan, this team melli with all their nohe khoon, haji, karbalaai, jaasoos, herasati, khabarchin, laat, gondeh gooz, ...is best described as Team Melli Iran and they are all our brothers and countrymen because Iran is this brother. That country is populated by a lot of people who are like this and think like this. Those guys are Iran. The right guys are representing the right country. Our mellat is like this so this is only natural that such players and characters represent us or do you think the iranian society is otherwise full of cultured, civilized, secular, friendly and polite people?

Nothing is really out of sync, to me this team, its players, its coaches, the people around it...they all are accurate and dignified representatives of Iranian society. If i have to identify myself with this kind of Team Melli is of course another story, but there is no denying the fact that this team is Iran National Team
